I’m Elara, writer of heroes who don't deserve their happy endings until they've properly earned them.

I write the Skyscrapers & Sin series: contemporary romance set in a world of power, secrets, and men in exquisite tailoring making questionable decisions. The women opposite them are holding everything together — careers, families, grief, group chats — and are entirely done with nonsense. Naturally, chaos ensues. Then… some spice.

The stories lived in my head for years before they made it to the page, drafted in stolen moments around a demanding career, on long commutes, and lately, on walks with my co-author, Henry. He's a dog. He contributes nothing and takes full credit.

I write the kind of romance I want to read: banter you can hear, heat that means something, and emotion that sneaks up on you. My characters get real lives — real losses, real jobs, real insecurities, real strengths — because the swoon lands harder when the people feel true.

Skyscrapers & Sin is just the beginning. There are more stories coming from this world, a connected series waiting in the wings (hello Declan), and a standalone that refuses to leave me alone. The characters have been building for years — and they're not done with me yet.

When I'm not writing, I'm exploring the world overseas or exploring reality TV from my sofa. Probably while plotting someone's downfall. Fictionally. Mostly.
